Hello and welcome to my portfolio. My name is Dan Craig and I am currently a Ph.D. student in Language Education and Instructional Systems Technology (IST). With a dual major in Language Education and Instructional Systems Technology, I believe that I am well suited for work in teacher education programs, specializing in language education.

Distance education is playing an ever growing role in teacher education programs, both in-service and pre-service. In preparation for leading these initiatives, I have focused on three areas: Research, Web Design, and Change Management. I see these three areas as integral in providing high-quality, sustainable teacher education programs. Each will be discussed further in their respective sections.

This portfolio is slightly dated. I hope to update it a little in the future, but static portfolios like this take too much time to update and are not very good representations of my activities. I prefer to focus on my onging work with. For this reason, I will point you to my most active blog (IU CALL). In the future, I'll try to distill some of that other work to make it easier/quicker to understand my interests and skill sets.

I am currently an instructor with the Seoul National University Language Education Institute at the Yongon campus (medical campus). I teach students and faculty in a wide variety of majors and research areas in the bio-medical sciences. These are primarily English for Academic Purposes (EAP) classes, focusing on writing, presentation skills, and listening. See my list of current courses for more specific information.
